Cesium is a silvery-gold soft alkali metal. This element is a member of group of three metals that can occur as a liquid at room temperature. The metal form of cesium is used in the electrical and chemical industry. Cesium was discovered by Robert Bunsen and Gustav Kirchhoff in 1860.
